This very unusual vintage American Oak ox-eye (œil de bœuf) frame echoes the dormer windows of a French chateau.

Coated in a dark 70's style wood stain, I gave the piece a more European look with black and metallic gold paint gently layered and rubbed for age. The lower half is dipped in a marbling solution of green and fuschia pigments.
